Kabataan, Kabayanihan, Kinabukasan (KKK) was a two-part webinar series that aims to inspire and empower the youth to be the modern heroes who will shape the future of the nation.
Part one of the series, Youth and Nation Building, discussed the milestones and contributions of the youth sector throughout history and how the youth of today can emulate their example.
Senator Kiko Pangilinan talked about his experiences as a former student leader as he expounded on the role of the youth in nation building. Meanwhile, filmmaker Pepe Diokno detailed the process of building an effective narrative to achieve social change. Content creator Janina Vela also gave tips from first-hand experience on how to take part in the movement for change.
Part two of the series, Youth and Heroism, discussed the roles of the youth in building a better nation for the Filipino people.
Historian and professor Xiao Chua shared tidbits from history as he showed the role of the youth as heroes of Philippine history. Iloilo Board Member Jason R. Gonzales shared his insights and experience to be a champion of rights-based governance. Artist-advocate Reese Lansangan also shared her experience on how the youth can be modern-day heroes. Last but not the least, Vice President Leni Robredo left a message of encouragement for the youth to step up to their ultimate role — the shapers of the country’s future.
